Blocked.

No, not blocked from a Facebook friend--at least I hope not, I haven't checked lately! I mean: I am mind blocked. Sometimes in life you begin to think too much about the big things, which tends to make the small things (which sometimes don't even have to do with you) worse. Lately, that's been me. There has been so much going on in life lately between school, work, family, friends...You know, normal life stuff that eventually piles up on you without warning--and then, before you know it, you are mind blocked. Nothing seems to make sense, emotions are running high (especially if PMS is part of the problem), you cant seem to sleep, homework/studying become difficult focus on (which, ironically, I am should be writing a paper now), and everyone around you, aside from yourself, become irritating. Well, here is my solution when life gets in the way: WRITE IT DOWN! SCREAM! CRY! LET IT OUT! Who cares if it is for no real reason, or if its no big deal!? I don't, and if you're human this feeling is normal, as small as the problem may be you have every right to feel the way you do. However, analyze yourself and emotions before you take a drastic action--which is why I suggest you write it down, get everything off your mind onto paper in whatever way you please. Trust me, it works...in fact (as I said before) I should be writing a paper now, but I can not focus because I am mind blocked. Life has definitely got the best of me lately, making it hard to focus on anything but wanting to just quit everything that is putting stress on me. You just have to be stronger than stress, realize what is bothering you (let it out), make a plan on when you will get things done, then put your head down and FOLLOW THROUGH! After the craziness is over enjoy a nice glass of wine (or a milkshake, if you're underage). And if that doesn't work create your own stress relief remedy and share with us--the more options the merrier!
